WinUSB.dll missing on older Windows XP

Prerequisites

To apply this update, you must be running one of the following operating systems:

  • Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)

  • Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)

Download WinUSB files from Elprotronic server:

https://content.elprotronic.ca/MS-Win-files.zip

Follow Readme.txt instructions:

Check if you have following files in your computer in subdirectory:
c:\Windows\system32
winusb.dll
and
c:\Windows\system32\drivers
winusb.sys
where the c:\windows - location of the WINDOWS OS.

If not, copy and paste attached winusb.dll and winusb.sys in the subdirectories as above. Potentially you can use Windows updates to retrieve this update as outlined in this article:
