Flashloader preparation

Log in to the SDK Builder website:

https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/en/welcome

Select your MCU and configure the SDK. To download the Flashloader source code you need to check: MCU Boot and USB Host, Device, OTG stack. Then download the generated SDK.

To install the SDK after downloading, move the zip file with the SDK to the Installed SDKs window in the MCU Xpresso IDE

After installing the SDK, you can import a project with the Flashloader source code. Select "Import SDK Example(s)..."

Build the project and generate a .bin file from the .axf file using Binary Utilities.

To have the files generated automatically, you can make the following settings in the project

MCUXpresso IDE: S-Record, Intel Hex and Binary Files
